Electric buses were introduced on the Park and Ride services in May 2021. This significant change is part of the wider Greenline Electric Bus Project, aimed at improving air pollution, relieving congestion and improving accessibility on key bus routes. In November 2024 it was announced that the 10 electric buses linking Birstall, Enderby and Meynell’s Gorse with city centre have covered over a million miles between them.
