Bus User Group
As an outcome from its Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), Leicestershire County Council, has formed a Bus User Group and is keen to hear from residents interested in representing the views of bus users in Leicestershire.
The aim of the group is to help play a part in shaping the future of bus service provision in the county, including helping to consider the projects and schemes contained within the BSIP and to suggest those to be prioritised for implementation, subject to funding availability. We are equally keen to have representation from residents who already use buses and from those who don’t.
As there are only a limited number of places available on the group, we welcome expressions of interest in joining the group. It is a voluntary role, with a commitment to attend two meetings a year held remotely over Zoom, with meetings lasting between 1 to 1.5 hours.
Our BSIP can be viewed here and our Enhanced Partnership Plan and schemes here.
To register your interest in becoming a member of the group, or have any questions regarding participation, please email to nbs@leics.gov.uk.
