Ride Leicester and British Cycling bring to you, The Green Bicycle Case ride.
The group will set off from Evington Park House and out to the countryside around Little Stretton to see the events of 5 July 1919. The ride consists of a stop at four locations associated with the famous murder of Bella Wright, where you can see re-enactments of moments on that fateful day. It is 5 July 1919 and Bella Wright is out cycling from Stoughton to Gaulby when she meets a man on a green bicycle. Come and see what happened to make the case a talking point to this day.
This is a steady pace ride of 10 miles cycling, approximately 2 hours.
Bring water and a spare inner tube.
