Group Walk – Leicester’s Suffragettes

From Alice Hawkins statue,Green Dragon Square (formerly New Market Square)
Steady pace. Up to 1 hour 15 minutes.
This route visits locations associated with some of Leicester’s notable women, including Alice Hawkins, who campaigned for women’s suffrage and/or whose work improved the lives of women and children in Leicester. This is a repeat of the walk presented earlier this year, for those that missed it.
