Let’s Get Together Stroll

Meeting in Town Hall Square, off Horsefair Street
Finishing at Leicester Guildhall

Walk lasts around 45 minutes, steady pace. Accessible.

Allow 30 minutes at the end for a mini tour of the Guildhall, presented by staff. Option to visit the cafe afterwards.

Join a sociable stroll! Enjoy a friendly group walk through pleasant city streets, revealing some interesting facts along the way. This walk has a ‘memories of Leicester’ theme and passes former leisure and entertainment venues in the city which have since closed, but are within living memory. Join us to reminisce or simply to discover a little about Leicester in past decades. This time we finish at the Guildhall, where staff will provide a mini tour (up to 30 minutes).

This is a great way to get outdoors, explore the city on foot, meet new people and discover something new. Toilets are available in the museum at the end. This short walk is suitable for most. Walking or wheeling, we hope you’ll join us!
