Welcome to our group walks programme for September 2024.  

Walks are free to attend but places must be booked. For full details of each walk and to book, please visit Eventbrite via the links below.  Alternatively, book by phone during office hours (excludes weekends and bank holidays).

Victoria Park to Spinney Hill Park (return)

 

Main gates of Victoria Park, London Road (close to the junction with Granville Road). Medium pace. Around 90 minutes, 3 miles. A longer walk for those who like to stretch their legs. Details on Eventbrite

Heritage Trail from St Margaret’s to Frog Island (return)

St Margaret’s Bus Station, Gravel Street, Leicester.

Steady pace. Up to 90 minutes with information stops.

On the Trail of Joseph Merrick in Victorian Leicester.
This walk is part of the Open Streets event on the last Sunday of the month (May-Sep). This month’s event has a heritage theme.
