Do you have a disability? Then come along and learn about the opportunities that cycling has to offer you from WheelsForAll and help us for a good cause? Then this is for you.
Are you an individual who wants to ride the roads for a good cause? Then this is for you.
Are you a cycling club, keen for a challenge, ready to eat up those miles, and all for a good cause? Then this is for you.
The Big Bike Ride
A challenge to suit all. There are four signed routes, 11 miles, 23 miles, 39 miles and 67 miles all set out for you to enjoy the South Leicestershire countryside as you cycle along. And all for a good cause.
The event is based in the gardens of Misterton Hall, where children can learn to ride and where cycling for the disabled will be found. It is also where the cycle routes start and end, with a big welcome home from Lutterworth’s Town Crier!
On the return from your ride, you will be entitled to a FREE Hog Roast in a bun, (vegetarian options are available) and be able to relax and enjoy the gardens whilst listening to live music. You could maybe enjoy a cold beer, or a cup of tea, perhaps even a fizzy soft drink.
And remember, by entering you will also be helping the Rotary Club to raise money for Epilepsy Action, Prostaid and the MS Society. When you have signed up, you will be sent information on how to contact your chosen charity to get a free T shirt /cycling top and fundraising support.
All Nett proceeds from this event go to charity.
