Group Walks: Aylestone Hall Gardens and Aylestone Meadows

Enjoy the city’s blue and green spaces as we explore Leicester’s canal waterways. Our morning walk heads along the Grand Union Canal, taking in Aylestone Mill Lock and returns via Aylestone Meadows. The meadows include some soft and uneven paths, please wear appropriate footwear. This is a repeat of the walk led earlier in July, for those that missed it.


Group Walks: Street Art (Murals) Along the Canal

We head along the Grand Union Canal and pass some great street art (murals) along the way. The canal art trail was painted by Graffwerk, a consortium of artists, with the help of local communities.  We return to the city centre via city streets, taking in a few more murals as we go. The walk finishes at the Clock Tower in the city centre. This is a repeat of the walk led earlier in July, for those that missed it.
