Group Walks: Sculpture in the City

Join us for a summer evening stroll through Leicester city centre taking in some of the city’s street sculptures. We pass some established (often overlooked) sculptures in the city. We also pass some of the attractive and engaging new temporary sculptures on display this summer as part of the free LOROS Rocket Round Leicester art trail (19 July – 26 September).

Join an experienced wildlife expert to explore the meadows and learn about the different types of plants, insects and other wildlife that live here. Ellis Meadows is a little-known green space in the city. It is located not far from the National Space Centre and Abbey Pumping Station.

Group Walks: Belgrave to the River Soar

This group walk heads from Belgrave to the National Space Centre via the new Charles Bennion footbridge and returns via the Holden Street footbridge. The route uses a combination of residential streets and pleasant riverside paths. This is a repeat of the walk led in 2021, called Bridges over the River Soar.
