Walk on the Wild Side – Aylestone Meadows

A Walk on the Wild Side walk in Aylestone Meadows is hosted by an experienced wildlife expert who will lead you around the meadows and talk about the different types of plants and wildlife found here. Our fantastic wildlife expert will lead you on a 60-90 minute exploration of the park to discover more about nature in the city. This event is a collaboration between Making Wildlife Count and Choose How You Move.

This group walk heads from Belgrave to the National Space Centre via the new Charles Bennion footbridge and returns via the Holden Street footbridge. The route uses a combination of residential streets and pleasant riverside paths. This is a repeat of the walk led in July, for those that missed it.
