Service Disruption
Passengers are advised that part of Leicester Road, between New Bridge Road and the Blaby Bypass Roundabout, will be closed from Monday 17th February until Saturday 22nd February 2025 to allow Leicestershire County Council to facilitate drainage works and other highway improvement works.
During the closure, the 84/85 will operate to a diversion route via Soar Valley Way, St Johns, Enderby Rd & Blaby Bypass and will not be able to serve Glen Parva.
Residents of Glen Parva will have access to a temporary replacement shuttle service to and from Lutterworth Road, to connect with the 84/85. This service will be available Monday to Saturday at the following times:
- 8:00am, 10:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm from bus stops on Leicester Road to Lutterworth Road opposite Monsell Drive to connect with the 84/85 service.
- 9:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm, 5:30pm from Lutterworth Road adjacent Monsell Drive to Glen Parva
The shuttle service will be provided by Raicha’s Travels.
Leicestershire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
