FoxConnect is a brand-new demand responsive transport service operating in Leicestershire. You can choose exactly where you want to be picked up and dropped off, meaning it’s a convenient and flexible way to travel at a time that suits you.

- Download the FoxConnect app on your smart phone from the Google Play or Apple app store.
- Sign up for an account and add your details.
- Book your journey and wait for your FoxConnect driver to pull up to your pick up point.
- Pay in advance so you’ll never need to worry about having the right change
- Get on board and enjoy the ride, knowing you will arrive quickly and safely at your destination.
If you’re not able to use the FoxConnect app, call the number 0116 2165555 to book a journey. Lines are open between 08:30 and 16:30, Monday to Friday.

FAQs
When will FoxConnect operate?
The service will operate from Monday to Saturday between 06:00 and 19:30. The service will not operate on public or bank holidays. The first journey pick-up will start no earlier than 06:00 and the final journey drop-off will end no later than 19:30.
How long do I have to wait after I’ve booked my FoxConnect journey?
We recommend booking the FoxConnect service a day in advance for journeys which need an assured arrival time. For on the day travel, please allow 45 minutes before departure – subject to vehicle availability, this time may be reduced. Journeys can be booked up to 7 days in advance.
Can I book a recurring journey?
Yes, recurring journeys are possible and ‘favourite’ journeys can be saved for ease of booking.
I’m not near a bus stop. Can I still use FoxConnect?
Yes. Where possible, physical bus stops will be used. However, other pick up points will also be used.
How will I know if my journey has been accepted?
Journeys will be confirmed via email and a text message can be configured to send booking reminders and to notify when the driver is on their way / at the pick-up point.
Can I cancel a journey?
A booking may be cancelled a minimum of two hours before the scheduled pick-up time and receive a full refund. Bookings cancelled with less than two hours’ notice will be recorded as a ‘no show’ and a refund will not be available. If any amendments are needed for the journey, you will need to cancel and rebook as soon as possible. A journey can be cancelled on the app or through the call centre.
How much will a journey cost?
From 1st January 2023 to 31st December 2024, the cost of a FoxConnect trip is being reduced to £2. This is part of the Government’s ‘Get Around for £2’ scheme, which aims to encourage people to use public transport, and applies to all trips in this period. You can still use concessionary passes on our FoxConnect buses as these aren’t affected. Read more about the scheme online at gov.uk
What if an address I want to get to isn’t covered?
FoxConnect is a trial service and so is not operational across the whole of Leicestershire. Please visit our DRT page for further information on services near you.
