Leicestershire Network Review

Local area bus services that are funded by the Council are being reviewed to create more travel opportunities for Leicestershire residents and to support the wider network provided by bus operators. This review involves partnership working through Leicestershire Buses and, through the BSIP+ grant funding award, considering new and different approaches to how local bus service networks are provided.

Network Review Phases

The network review is taking place in 5 phases across the county between now and mid 2025. Each phase will be supported by our Sustainable Travel Roadshows. The table below shows the current timings.

Changes and improvements to Melton’s supported bus services were introduced on 6th January 2025.

We are hosting Sustainable Travel Roadshows across the county as the review progresses through each phase. These events will offer information about your local transport options, and keep you informed on plans for your local bus services. More details including dates, times and locations of the Roadshows will be updated for each area shown below as events are confirmed.
